I saw the Maestro exhibit at MOG yesterday. It’s a retrospective of Lino Tagliapietro’s work, and it’s magnificent.
Have you ever been in front of a work of art that resonates so powerfully you feel it inside your body? This exhibit is one of those. He blew all the glass in Seattle, then shipped it to Italy, where he used diamonds to engrave them. I cannot recommend this show enough.
[Again, apologies for the color – WordPress adds the sRGB tag to the photos, greatly diminishing their color. The color is better if you click on the thumbnails for the larger version. Trust me, the color is much more vibrant and varied in person. Go see the show to get the real color.]
